This movie is not for everyone. You have to have experienced the Beatles beyond the music to understand what the producers were trying to do. Of course the music is great but they knew they could never copy it well so they didn't even try. They used it to take the viewer back and forth from feeling relieved that this didn't happen and the music did exist to, oh god what would it be like if I never heard that song. There's a cool little twist that made me gasp when the door opened. Most of the audience stayed and sang along with the ending credits. For the true Beatle fan it's a must see.
