Phew what a cracking read. I’m about 3/4 of the way through but can’t put it down, I’m finding the plot gripping and really enjoying the mix of narrative and online chat. Yes it is difficult to read but stick with it as it adds to the story and fleshes out the game characters. I can’t understand why people find this hard to either comprehend or read. I’m no spring chicken (computers weren’t even invented when I started work) but am enjoying the challenging format, the insight into gaming and dark side of social media and applaud JK for pushing the boundaries a bit. The ‘will they won’t they’ sidebar between Strike and Robin continues to be entertaining with their banter, insecurities and angst and I hope they never become an item or we would lose that interplay. I’m looking forward to seeing how they manage to televise the book.
