This book has received way too much hype for what it actually is, the book was boring, the writing was sloppy and inconsistent, the romance between the two teenagers felt rushed and forced, in no sense were they perfect for each other. The dialogue between characters was slow and bland, it felt awkward and uncomfortable. There was also way too many unnecessary words and sentences, like I said before, for example in the book it says “We stared at the sky. The dogs went into Windermere via the dog flap.” Then they talk about how cold it is. Like in what way was that sentence necessary for the reader??? This book definitely caught my attention in some areas but again the rest went either way too fast or too slow. There were even parts of the book were I just completely skipped because of how unnecessary and boring it was. In conclusion I would not recommend this weirdly written book. P.s The book wasn’t even emotionally investing. The people who cried to this book don’t know what an actual good emotional book is.
