I found this book on my bookshelf when searching for something to read. It’s not something that I would usually be drawn to and questioning my family none of them has admitted to purchasing or placing it there. HOWEVER; A most interesting and entertaining book. In a world that most of us never think about. Whether it was an irresistible urge to learn about something outside of my usual world or voyeurism into something that is hidden, not for our eyes, I thoroughly enjoyed Peter Everett’s account of his time in Southwark Mortuary. I breathed a sigh of relief on the very last pages. I recommend this book to anyone who is not squeamish.
