This was everything i expected and more. It not only gives faith in the "unknown" but it gives faith back into horror fans that quality films can still be made. I loved the connection to the old movies and also the new twist. The twin aspect was great i love how the movie humbled the characters, no matter what faith, status, lifestyle, or name we are all able to fall and fight the same. It had a awesome trick at the ending, I choose you- 'yes i choose you Katheryn' it just worked so great because it would totally be that way to! Your selfish ways will lead to your unwanted fears. Many have told me how they hated this movie and i just simply can not agree with that i think to not like it is holding to much nostalgia in the past movies which some is good but you have to keep a open mind to the new changes all around us even in simple movies, this is yes apart of the chain and links to the old movies but its also its own art and quite frankly stands on its own quite well. Its starting a new chapter and new style to our beloved classics and i am all here for it! There is nothing wrong with bringing something gold back to life. Just keep a open mind to it and watch for all the hidden messages and throw backs it gives throughout the whole movie, especially the ending if you look into details and things the movie tells you like films have a bigger meaning and art with in them then you will love this. If you just like a jump scare factory with no meaning just gore then this probably isn't the film for you but that just seems to be the world now no one wants depth in anything because they are unable to see it. This carries a lot of depth to it, i can not wait to see what the future brings for this franchise i will be in the theater opening night. Bravo David Gordon Green! Bravo
