Today's media is in a word, nuts! Television news shouldn't just be about ratings (though the top execs would totally disagree) but the reason I've stayed with The CBS Evening News is it carries on the best traditions of Cronkite and others. The broadcast is a solid half hour of REAL news, hosted by a broadcaster who "gets it". Pushing Jeff Glor out is, in this viewer's opinion a mistake. How do you improve a broadcast that already is excellent?
