A lot better than I expected. In a time now where horror films are undergoing the “requel” treatment to stay relevant with the times, Scream 2022’s self awareness is probably its biggest strength next to the killings themselves. Hard to top the original still but it’s definitely more entertaining than the last few sequels, and definitely more entertaining than the failed tv series.
