SPEECHLESS.
I went into watching this movie thinking I would experience a handful of emotions. And let me tell you, I did. From the start, I was thrilled to see one of my favorite actors Theo James play a bigger role in perfecting his characters development, as his character started out as the leader of Dauntless and ended up leading the people of Chicago and others to see the faults of David’s experiment before Tris Prior could. To recap, the beginning of the film was flawless, and every actor portrayed their character outstandingly.
PETER.
From the beginning I expected nothing more than what I was given from Peter. He was the same guy as he was in the last two films. One thing that left me SPEECHLESS and STAR STRUCK was the Peter never received his Penthouse. Now, of course the Penthouse was a bit of a stretch, BUT Peter was very flexible and offered to be given a room in the “cool upstairs”. Not only did he not receive both of these offers BUT he was left stranded in the desert waiting for David who never showed. Talk about leaving someone hanging. This scene left me with extreme emotional and physical trauma. I now have TRUST ISSUES due to the UNDESPICABLE treatment given to Peter. I now have to see my therapist 3 times a week who reassures me Peter will indeed receive his Penthouse AND compensation for being stranded in the desert alone.
