Don’t really understand all the negative feedback. It seems even some of the professional reviewers don’t get it. The performances all around are excellent.. The dialog is purposely written the way it is and is handled well by all . I understand it may not be everyone’s cup of tea but this was for me a most compelling film. I would call it a tragic opera...rich and unsettling ... in a way a horror movie . Watch it when you can focus uninterrupted..

Great fun ... saw the original American Cut of The Professional when first released in 94 .. just saw the European cut Leon 25 years later .. So much better.. fuller characters and relationships and sexual tension ... Reno , Oldman , Portman fabulous ..

This film is a treat... Gritty Mysterious Effective storyline Spectacular performance by Kidman A female top cop burnout ala Eastwood This is not to compare the two .. Kidman owns this role. Kusema directs with a deftness and an awareness that breaths new life into a often done genre.. Can’t for the life of me understand how anyone would find this film a bore or too long .. This is what you would call a page turner..
