Best series I've watched in a long time...just subscribed to Hulu and started watching and can't stop!

Soap opera style drama, terrible acting, adequate entertainment if you're bored and slightly curious

Great performances. My Polish grandmother that I never got to meet was an immigrant in the early 1900's and lost her husband and struggled to survive, losing her husband when my father was only 2, and the loss of 2 out of 4 children at early ages. I wish I had known her, through this movie I honor her struggles coming to a new country to start a new life so far away from home. I could not have been as brave.

I generally avoid episodes of drama, but I'm hooked!
