I have 1 episode to go but I’ve been loving this tv show. I just finished reading exodus and it’s so cool to see the story brought to life. There is commentary from people from different religious backgrounds and it was cool to hear the different perspectives , especially information on what certain words mean in Hebrew. I personally didn’t think any of the commentary was offensive or annoying. There is conversational script added to make this more entertaining, or else they would just be reciting the Bible word for word. I don’t think the writers drifted far from the scripture. And they do recite Bible verses as they go through each of the 10 plaques. The casting is impeccable , the scenery is amazing. Everything looks so realistic it’s like being transported in time. The fakest looking thing was the hair store but so easy to over look considering how amazing everything else is. If you are someone that is into theology this show would probably irritate you. I just became a Christian a few months ago and this was really cool to help “bring the Bible to life.” It’s one thing to read it on paper but it made me exciting to keep reading after watching this depiction. As a Christian I found this show awesome and not all all offensive. I think anyone from any religious background could enjoy this show, or even atheists. It doesn’t shove anything down your throat. It’s up to you whether or not wish to take the show as a depiction of factual events or fantasy. But regardless of our personal opinion, there is an ultimate truth

Awesome show I watched it all in like 2 days. Story line and animation were both incredible, all the characters were really interesting as well. Teleports you to a different world! Highly recommend it
