I went to see the movie after being misled by the overly generous reviews on Google, and I have never regretted a decision more. This film is an absolute disaster, grossly overrated to the point of absurdity. The storyline is excruciatingly dull and lackluster, failing to engage on any level. The direction is abysmal, making it painfully obvious that the director has no clue how to craft a coherent film. Major scenes are punctuated by jarring, laughable sound effects, used excessively and inappropriately, as if to compensate for the lack of genuine substance. The attempts at humor are cringeworthy, with several scenes trying desperately to be funny but instead coming off as poorly conceived, cheap, and painfully lowbrow. The production quality is shockingly subpar, leaving one to question how such a travesty was greenlit in the first place. Save yourself the time and money—this film is a complete and utter failure on every conceivable front.
