If anything I rate this book 9.5! I liked it however towards the beginning Julia does complain a LOT which kinda annoys me but I also get where she's coming from. As a daughter of a Mexican family I relate to a lot of things that were mentioned however the other half is something that sounds more like a Julia problem. It did get better towards the end but it's only the beginning that threw me off. I recommend this book for those wanting to know more about the mexican life of a teenage girl.
