I was so nervous to read this book, because of the injustice and tragedy of Britney’s story. I’m glad she found her freedom and her voice. Unfortunately the book was a kind of listing of events. The chapters were short and the stories skipped opportunities for depth, descriptiveness and expression. I guess it is exactly that, an autobiography in the form of a monologue. I wanted a more of each story. To delve into the detail of one or two of the events, good and bad. But detail was skipped over and I found it jumped forward too quickly. Nevertheless, it was good to hear Britney’s long awaited story. Well done for putting yourself out there.
