Horrible movie. These movie has a few interesting concepts and instead of focusing on one it tries to clumsy force them together into one big amalgam. The plot seems to use its “storylines” to jump from one “twist” to another but fails to do anything to establish them or make you care. The family (including Helen Hunt) has no purpose in the movie except to add more of nothing to the plot (pointless subplot about infidelity and creating family drama, etc). This movie does its best M. Night impression in the worst possible way. What’s even more disappointing is that SO many people enjoyed this movie; My wife liked the movie because she wasn’t expecting much and liked the twists meanwhile I was pulling my hair out because I was bored, frustrated, and wishing I had my 90 minutes back...
