Awfully "crowded" (signif.characters [15-20, just tonight], locations [dozens!], plot[s!], etc.) and everything intensely pitched at us.! Obviously, the first episode has to get everything launched -- but was it really needful to throw it ALL into this evening?? Also, it seems excessively violent to no real purpose... On the positive side, the excellent "period" scenery, costumes, old cars (AND airplanes!), and a whole lot more! I'll probably re-watch it soon, just to see if I took in enough to carry me into the next episode or two.
