The first 60% percent of the book details each shift Hill was on, the precise time and date he did everything like a report was being submitted to Mr. Hill’s boss.
The remainder of the book is better written but superficial.
There were many interesting insights but Mr. Hill fails to go fully into each President’s character. I have read extensively about Lyndon Johnson, who did many exceptional things , but was an awful human being. Johnson would make his staff talk to him in the bathroom while on the toilet.
Mr. Hill, while very modest, comes across as most competent, intelligent and kind...a true North Dakotan.
