While there are a few helpful takeaways (writing down a list of things I’m grateful for each day is definitely something I want to implement) there is definitely a target audience here of which I am not a member. This book is very centric around being a mother/mommy guilt and defying the pressure to have it all. As a young woman who has other ambitions, I did not feel there was a lot I could takeaway here. Even though I wasn’t a massive fan of the book while I was reading through it, as soon as the author starts talking about setting goals and lists “reaching the next level of an MLM” as one to which a woman may aspire I had to put the book down.
