Boring, cheesy, and unoriginal. Same tired tropes and cliches that have been done a thousand times before. And don't even get me started on the lame musical numbers. This should have skipped the movie theater and just been written as a Broadway show. Within the first 5 minutes I could already tell how lame the rest of the movie was going to be, which is sad because I really looked forward to this. It's a overly familiar basic, bland, and tired form of storytelling repackaged with a big name for nothing but marketing and profit. It's probably great for people that like to comfort watch and enjoy films with high predictability, but if you're looking for something intriguing or with any sort of depth, this is not going to be it.
