This movie got very bad reviews and I honestly don't know why. Maybe it was because they didn't understand it, maybe they were expecting something more, but I loved it. I fell in love with this movie before it was even a movie. It was just some fan-fiction on an app that let you read all different kinds of books for free. This is the first book I read and I have gone back to it numerous times. When I found out it was being turned into a movie, I actually jumped with joy. Going into this movie, I had so many expectations. Some were not met, not even close, but there was so many things about this movie that blew it out of the waters! The characters are amazing, as well as the casting choice. I will admit, I was a little disappointed with Hardin's character. In the books, he is a lot more moody whereas in the movie, he mainly just has a rbf (resting b***h face) the entire time unless he is around Tessa. The movie followed the plot of the original fan-fiction almost to a T. I have not read the published version of this book yet, but right after I posed this, I instantly bought the entire series. Absolutely LOVE this movie and I cannot wait to see what comes next because that was one hell of a cliff-hanger.
