I was disappointed that ET Canada gave no coverage to the death of the iconic Canadian singer/songwriter Shirley Eckhard yet covered tWitch's death who is an American. Shirley Eckhard was an amazing talent who wrote for the likes of Anne Murray, Emmy Lou Harris, Cher, the Pointer Sisters and made a star out of Bonnie Riatt for her song "Something To Talk about". She was also inducted into the Canadian SongWriters Hall of Fame two years ago. Surely ET Canada could have spared 1:30 to pay tribute to Ms. Eckhard but instead ignored her in favor of an American Artist. It is very sad when we don't salute our home grown artists.
