If I was a person who actually paid attention to lyrics I’d give this 5 stars. My ears only pay attention to good combinations of musical notes - not words (I read books for words). This album’s musical notes bounce up and down seemingly at random to my defective ears…so The Car it’s not my cup of tea. No other singer would ever try to remember how to sing these songs. HOWEVER….Monkey’s lyrics have always been my favourites in the music business…because my attention span for words in a song lasts about 3 seconds…which is enough time to pick out interesting things like jet skis flying inside a castle moat, or falling down ‘cause someone has moved my chair, or any other interesting snippets that Alex pops into their songs.
