Honestly such a breath of fresh air of a series. Certain shows need better drop schedules. Secret Invasion was not a very good show and that we waited weekly for those releases was a rotten cherry on that subpar sundae. Echo gives you something thats been missing from the MCU since the, at the time, canonly promiscuous Netflix shows (the shows were officially added to the MCU canon timeline following Echo's release). With those in mind I'd rank Echo probably in the Jessica Jones season 2 area.Which is to say beating out Both Iron Fists, Luke Cage season 2 AND the good but could have been better The Defenders. A very good season that minor polishing could have risen to Daredevil Season 2 levels. Still earns a 5 star though as I can't award half stars. Alaqua Cox gives a powerful performance and proves she can hold her own in this universe. Here's hoping this ushers more Marvel Spotlight products that represent the gritty street level Marvel characters that also have a binge friendly episode drops!
