Don't expect anything factual. It just take the advantage of real life people names and weaves it into typically sass-bahu serial which is known for its the most dramatic and overrated show. Better just watch the movie atleast it will end in 2-3hr.

If u r looking for Indian Psychological thriller. This is it. The pacing at first might be slow. But still it keeps u engaging. Also the acting is good. Will say give it a try.

Compare to a typical sass-bahu melodrama serial this is far better.

2.5 stars Tho the story is decent but nothing new to see. I thought its 2017 so may be writers will try something more deep and different but no. But its okay. The effects lack realism. 2 men get harshly beaten by hunter but leave their skin not a thing happen to their clothes. Tell which material the clothes were made of. Above that they walk and talk totally fine. There are more like this. Which was quite distracting. Some twist were out of place. Lacked some good explanation of how why things happen. So the show could have been definitely better. But its still fun to watch.

Its says its based on Chandragupta and Nandani. But who is Nandani?? Nowhere I can find her. She is eternally fictional character. The problem is not that a fictional character is added but rather selling anything in the name of real life people. Above that the serial doesn't even do anything creative even though it changed so much. They just took that same household fight and set it into historical backdrop. Totally diminishing the history. If they are going make so many changes and add anything then why just don't make a new fictional serial. ?? Instead of butchering actual history. Come on bring something new..
