Been a battlefield fan for over 10 years. I’m not dramatic like most of these reviews. It’s not “the worst battlefield game” not by a long shot. It’s very ambitious with cool ideas and most importantly, I’m having fun playing it. However, some things are super annoying. More weapons are needed, server browser, game modes. There should be large and small conquest, Team deathmatch, Rush. Why is there no scoreboard Why does it not tell me when a medic is close? No adaptive triggers on the PS5. Those are my main issues I guess. I also don’t like the cinematic opening at the start of matches. Just put me in the damn game instead of giving me twice the Load in screens. I love battlefield and I like this game but not having basic things in the game is annoying. Overall, people are massively exaggerating how bad it is but there is fair criticism regarding missing elements.

I primarily play multiplayer so this is what this will be based on. An objectively worse game than Modern warfare. The movement feels heavier, the guns are worse, the maps are stale and less interactive. It feels like a massive step back. So many little things. The inability to open and close doors, climbing is far more limited, the environment is less interactive. The weapons are absolutely horrible until you level them up, using certain weapons without attachments is almost impossible on any competitive sense. The grind is horrible because the best upgrades are saved till the very end and there are very few weapons that are good so everyone uses the same 1 or 2 weapons. Overall, horrible experience, I regret buying it and I actively still play modern warfare instead. My girlfriend and I don’t like it. The zombies is cool though and the game looks pretty but it’s objectively a worse experience. Would not recommend but also wouldn’t say it’s the worst thing in the world.

I loved the first game, after reading all the comments about it I didn’t play the 2nd one for a year after it released despite being a massive fan and buying it day one… the reviews are all filled with comments about it being too woke which I’m not a fan of. I’m fairly conservative I think and despise left movements so it sort of out me off as I don’t like politics in the entertainment I consume. After completing it not 2 minutes ago (the credits are rolling as I type) The game is phenomenal, an absolute master piece and I’m so sad the creators are not getting the credit they deserve for this. I’ve been away for 35 hours straight just playing this game. As I said Im not a fan of politics but this is how it’s done. It never feels invasive, it never feels like it’s trying to tell you how to think or feel about a matter. The “progressive” elements of the story that people are complaining about are not intrusive at all and don’t take away from the story in the slightest. The best way to be progressive is to be progressive and shut up about it. The problem I’ve had with the left isn’t the people or their lifestyle choices, races or anything, it’s been with the need to paint themselves as victims and as a group rather than individuals. You are not your gender, sexual preference or skin tone, you are you and this hame gets that across brilliantly. This is how it’s done. Just do it, don’t ask for sympathy, just live your life. This game is amazing and I’m sad that people are giving them stick for an amazing game because it’s “cool” to hate on progressive things. Again, this is coming from a man who grew up in a traditional Christian household. Absolutely brilliant. The reviews from IGN saying it’s a 10/10 are bang on (for a change) A pure masterpiece. Decide for yourself, don’t be influenced by others. Don’t let the opinion of the masses sway you. Don’t be ashamed to like something that others like to criticise. Even the intimate scene that everyone moaned about was a good scene. I’m just sad I was out off playing this game for so long. Lesson learned. Well done to the team, I hope the negative feedback doesn’t put them off (or force them to double down as a response). If this one comment encourages them to keep delivering games of this quality then I’m happy. Well done, great game, riveting story, amazing attention to detail, beautiful scenery… ive never done this with a naughty dog game before but I’m gonna start a Jew game plus. This needs to be experienced again
