After viewing the pilot and tolerating Demi Moore's distracting first moments, I read the review at Rotten Tomatoes and in all fairness RT is wrong. Maybe the reviewers were stuck in high school English class and were expecting a faithful adaptation of a fairly crummy book. Too bad. Handling the source material differently doesn't make it bad. In this case it makes it better. And it's not the first adaptation I've ever seen and is certainly more daring than the 1980 TV movie (sorry Bud Cort). Or any other version I recall. It is reimagined for this era and definitely worth watching. And I wasn't expecting too much from Peacock― a streaming service I subscribed to primarily so I can watch EPL matches. So, Brave New World has been more than a welcomed surprise.
