This moving was too long about too little! It is very slow-moving until the last 44 minutes which, in truth, still was not that good. Then you get to the end, you find out that this is only the first half of the story! Have to wait for the whole story until Thanksgiving 2025! I will NOT be seeing the second one!

Great story line! However, I had a bit of trouble following because of all the time jumping. Florence Pugh is as good as always!

Both witty and humorous (and a little heart-wrenching), The Dressmaker is a “can’t-turn-away” kind of film. Kate Winslet is her usual brilliant self, yet transformed into the gutsy heroine character that is all too perfect for the actress. Liam Hemsworth gives a spot-on performance as the most likable (and handsome) guy around. Kate’s mother is a hilariously ornery type that you love but also want to thump! This movie is brilliant and an absolute 10!

The Whale is a great portrait of humanity, exploring the very best and worst of us. If you tune into the script, you are left with a glimpse of the most miserable human existence, but you are also left with the ultimate meaning of hope. This is a must-see movie for all of us questioning the frailty and purpose of life.
