i hate that movie so much! dont get me wong this is a great story but poorly staged. i mean a teenager, really did'nt fight back for her life or her freedom every single time she had a chance to get out in this basement. She stayed in this basement for 18 years, got pregnant 4 times, really... It seems to horrible to be true. she did'nt fight enough, her mother, sister and boy friend didnt fight for her. she only get out only because her horrible father decide to let her and that's what make me so angry.
