Roberta Gordon

Probably, in my humble opinion, one of the finest programming to come out of the BBC. So many episodes have moved me immensely. On top of that, I was a child growing up when so many of its topics were my reality. From thalidomide to tonight's Kennedy vs Khrushchev stand-off (all to real to world affairs that happened as recently as yesterday's news). In addition to the nuns and the nurses, the doctors and patients, I am enthralled with the underlying themes of each episode and am grateful for each that I watch. The acting is absolutely superb as is the entire production. Thank you BBC and PBS for bringing this to the American public.
