Call me a Game Freak apologist if you want, but this game is amazing. Graphics can enhance a game, but them being poor doesn't instantly make the game as a whole awful. This would be a 5-star review if it weren't for the fact that the game is incredibly buggy, but if I'm being honest, while this doesn't make it any better, bugs and glitches are just something you kind of have to expect in open-world games (plus, they're something I can just laugh off). Fix the bugs, add level-scaling, and maybe add voice acting, this would be by far the best Pokémon game, which it arguably already kind of is.

The last (successful, and arguably second last if Scarlet and Violet wasn't really buggy) time Game Freak took risks, and I love it.
