The movie was fine. It's sad many didn't like it because the way they went. It was made to be like another film and the comedy was borderlands specific which is little next to none. Sure the gamers are mad and leaving crap reviews. I've played the games for 10 years. I enjoyed the movie. Sad to say many other gamers didn't because they compared and had higher then average expectations. Especially knowing the movie wasn't based 100% off the games. It was more source material to make a movie. Not a real gaming movie. Just a source movie. And seems it went right over there heads into a 1 star review and hating it for no real reason. Even the games didn't really have a plot. You could predict most of it before it happened. The comedy sucked. And the characters were fun 1 time. Over all the movie was just like the games. And I think they don't want to admit it. Causing this movie to go down the toilet because they don't know how to let go of there expectations. Sadly there no movie critique and they pretend to be one. Because they have a email and a hurt ego. They should really rewatch the movie and lower there expectations and stop comparing. Then they might enjoy it. But sadly they won't. And this movie will be shit on for it. Classic human behavior. All ego and no brains. Good luck people. Because sadly your feelings are hurt because you wanted it to be borderlands and you got a normal movie based on borderlands. Which is what they said they were doing. Not a full adaptation. Not a full story based on the games. And yall twisted it because yall hate it for not being what you wanted. Grow up people. Quit ruining things with your expectation. Enjoy life before sane people with self thinking get tired of your constant moaning. Like I have. 👍 Because borderlands the games have nothing to do with the movie. Just source material and you wanted 1000% more and billion dollar production and maybe because nobody knows borderlands it would have bankrupted the studio and caused them to go under and borderlands 4 would be canceled. You all don't understand how movies work. Budget and corporate interests far exceed your expectations. Budget was low for a reason. They did what they could. And if they did anymore there 950 million loss would have been your joy while they got canceled and then you wouldn't be happy then. That's reality. Money runs it. Not your expectations. Grow a pair and stop complaining because your expectations are hurt.
