The worst out of all of them. This felt like six Despicable Me shorts shoved into a feature length film. Haphazard and unfunny.

Ive been a big fan of the original trilogy, although I liked the first better than following two, but this one fell so far below the standard I will be forgetting it exists. Absolutely comical the way it was rushed, felt sloppy and ill suited to the Matrix universe. Neo was a shell of his former self, Trinity a forgettable afterthought, Morpheus and Smith replaced with characters who were so laughably uncharacteristic it was an insult to their legacy. The storyline was hollow, the effects pathetic, there was no emotion and depth. The viewer is left wondering why they're expected to care about the events unfolding before their eyes. There isn't any purpose or risk inherent within the storyline, the characters have no intrinsic value, the whole movie felt like a Dollar Store shelf remake. Its truly disappointing.
