A big thumbs down, 'Arjun Reddy' remake do not match the original in any of the respects. Shahid's emotions were so imperfect in many of the scenes, it looked like he wanted to imitate Arjun Reddy character in Kabir Singh. It was better if he did not see the original film at all. In a way he failed to act out spontaneous emotions in the film. The fish in the bottles scene is so unnecessary, though it was there in the original film also. Does not a doctor, being a science student know how fishes behave, mate or make love. Disgusting. Last question, how an alcohol plus drug abuse person go on maintaining a good physic and health after going through such a phase for such a long time???!! the shine on the face skin never goes off... how come? .. divinely blessed perhaps!! .. fault was there in the original movie as well!!

This movie is all about Shahrukh khan, and how he drags a dud story around. Honestly speaking you get nothing new in this movie or you can say nothing at all, there are dozens of movies with similar theme earlier. But for Shahrukh Khan fanatics this would be a good passtime, munching some popcorns, reveling about his short stature antics. Not for even a second in the movie time it felt like Baaua Singh - the pint size Shahrukh did realize or regret about his stature and difficulties that came along with it. The graphics on the screen fails sometimes to maintain the proportionate size of Shahrukh Khan, sometimes he looked smaller sometimes bigger. Even face of him sometimes got blurred. And his head looked shrunk, evidently as if he was squeezed to fit into a smaller body, and his head looked small really and that should not have happened, even a dwarf person has a regular sized head. I would score this movie 2.5/5.
