This album is a fantastic experience. It's amazing that J Dilla did this 31 track project in his hospital bed. Unlike anything I'd ever heard. If you're into hip hop or even jazz/funk give this a try. Dilla was speaking his last words on this album. The last beat he ever made, "Don't Cry" was released on this album. Truly a career defining track. This right here, is on another level. Worth listening to and living to.
