I loveeee this drama. The first drama about the real crown prince loves the real princess, (normally we only see the prince meet the poor lady or princess fall in love with bodyguard... such a boring story line). Though its a tragic sad ending but the film was brilliantly done, the plot, story line, the song, selection of the leads esp. the main characters are superb. I would suggest for more romantic scenes (not even in 24 hours they both had a sweet moment). The ending is quite rushing because I really want to see how the LCY suffered. My wishful thinking though I know they wanted to do justice to the book but if only they continue for more two episodes where LCY found Xiaofeng back in XiState. That would be AWESOME!! Though people would hate LCY because of cold hand willing to do anything for his country but what can he do much, he just take order and during that time its either your enemy die or you die, there's no in between. Agreed when he said to be a crown prince is more difficult than to be an emperor. But I wouldn't agree on how he treated the princess coldly just because he wanted to protect her. He actually killed her.. I think till the end, the princess didnt know why Li Empire attacked Daichin (its all started from killing the former Crown Prince). He should more transparent to his wife not to wait till the last minutes. Other than that, I think Pei Zhao should mentioned to LCY who was the real Gu Xiaowu then to allow him kill Gu Jian out of jealousy. Chen Xiaxu, Peng Xiaoran and all the casts & staffs .. Thumbs up!!!
