The background music was so distracting and at times unexplainable. Donna Summers “McArthur Park” being played in the background when Richard Burton was talking about the first time he set eyes on her?!It seemed like the remit was given to a 12 year old(perhaps it was as it’s executive producer was Kim Kardashian - she probably got North to do it!)The excuses that were given about her behaviour by friends and family were unbelievable- the grandaughter’s excuse for her going off with Eddie Fisher - oh she was heartbroken? - no she wasn’t, she was selfish and oversexed.

I loved it when it was just the two of them. Didn’t enjoy the scenes with other people because the acting was really bad.

Firstly, why was Harry Styles in this? Was it because he was Olivia Wilde’s toy boy cos his acting was abysmal which can only account to the fact that he spoke with his own accent not American. I’m sure that’s why he and Chris Pine had that “spat” (literally) as his acting was so bad. Not that there was much in the way of acting in this film - Florence Pugh must’ve been so frustrated as she was the only one carrying the film! The scenery was perfect but it’s almost like Olivia Wilde saw Bob Hope’s house in Palm Springs and let her imagination run away with her. Harry Styles should stick to singing.

Well I was quite hooked up until the servant went to “help” with her boss’s mastitis in the bath - that was me out! So boring and predictable

Love it but why, if the show is about empowement, are all the women in it bar one walking about with clippety hop high heels on? Even the Bradley character goes to visit Alex Levy at her apartment with clippety hop high heels on with jeans - doesnt make sense???!! AND - why was Jennifer Anniston wearing black through the whole thing - was it filmed in a couple of days?

Didnt think it was that great - good british actors but overacting by spanish actors - not a great combination

How skinny do the actresses have to be in this film - thought we were in 2020??

Thought this was absolutely BRILLIANT!! The actors who I had never seen before were absolutely fantastic and I'm sure we will be seeing a lot more of them in the future. What an absolute fantastic 3 parter. BBC well done! We need much more of this!! EVERYBODY was talking about it!!
