BDM-Astro Scorpion

One of the best vampire movies of the genre. A vampire noble, Count Dracula in all but name, is destroyed in one of the most memorable scenes ever depicted in such a movie. His mistress knows of a way for the vampire to be reborn, and sets about to do that as the head mistress of a circus that is far more than your average entertainment circus. In a plot that twists and turns, and leaves you on the edge of your seat, wondering what happens next, there are no boundaries of age in which the horror unfolds. Juvenile vampires. Worth watching for, and can be set apart from the rest of the movie is the dance of the changeling. Mesmorising and darkly beautiful, considering the context of the dance in the first place. Notable co-stars are David Prowse (Darth Vader) and Lala Ward (Dr Who).

A classic of the horror genre. A must for all horror film buffs.

Espionage thriller in which a female version of James Bond ruthlessly shoots, kicks and beats her way through a plethora of bad guys (and good guys that get in her way) in an effort to complete her mission. Car chases, wholesale destruction of property, destruction of furniture, gun fights everywhere, adversaries that can't hit a target with 100 shots of trying, supposed highly trained police officers left wanting when attempting to take on our heroine - it's all here. It is the main character's lack of vulnerability, her almost imperviousness throughout most of the film that leaves it to be one round of predictable action after another. Chuck in a love interest, with the excuse to chuck a sex scene. Predictable ending. Good in places. Nothing outstanding.
