Gemma Peasgood

The pace is slow to begin with, but there are moments dramatic revelation as the story unfolds. It does show the darker side of human nature, and is not for those who only like the tidy comfortable series where there are goodies and baddies and a satisfying conclusion. The acting is excellent. It's realism. Some reviews have criticised diction, but people don't always speak in real life and the speech styles reflect their characters. I thoroughly recommend this series
