The movie was great as far as it went. It was disappointing that it ended abruptly and did not give recognition to The Salem Chapel British Methodist Episcopal Church in St. Catharines, Ontario where so many former slaves found freedom and in fact settled in that area, including Harriet herself for almost ten years. One of the public schools in St. Catharines was renamed Harriet Tubman a few years ago. That is a big part of her story. I would think most people who enjoyed the movie and are interested in her entire life journey would have liked more content after finding freedom in Canada. Personally I am interested in the life she lived and those whose lives she touched in the years that she spent helping to resettle those she rescued. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. I know I can research it myself and I will. Maybe a sequel?
