I'll watch any superhero or vampire movie. I walked out of this one 30 minutes in. It's terrible. I love Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in and out of movies. Their chemistry was non-existent. They were not funny. The gratuitous blood-bath fighting was over the top and did nothing to further the flimsy plot line. I'm embarrassed for ask the actors who agreed to be in this film. This film did inspire me to stop swearing, however. Every other word was some derivative of f***. It was such a turn off to me - someone who has enjoyed swearing for decades. I realized that my - light in comparison - potty mouth is not endearing me to others. So I guess that was worth 30 minutes of my time.

This relationship makes no sense. The male basically told her he doesn't want his friends to know about them kissing (and later more) and she can't get the words out of her mouth fast enough to say they don't need to know. She's not upset or taken aback. He comes off as manipulative and degrading. She can stand up to and be snarky to teachers and classmates (who bully her) but she has no boundaries or self value with this guy? A terrible model for young people to have. I can only assume it's popular due to the sex scenes because otherwise we haven't come fast at all in how we value women and that's hurting my heart.
