Michael Douglas is great in this but otherwise this series is awful! Really bad writing, horrible casting!! Anyone who really cares about history will be appalled at this ridiculous characterization of Franklin’s time in France. The actors playing Jefferson and Adam are so shallow and ridiculous, as is LaFayette. If our patriots were as portrayed in this series we would still be under British rule or worse. Awful!!!! Such a disappointment.
