As in all- just my opinion. BUT finally the story was done right! Zack Snyder did the film, dare I say, Justice. The reimangined Steppenwolf- 100x better. I was scared to see Darkseid, would he look MEH? BUT those fears were removed-I was pleased- although more CGI looking, than not, I was still pleased with his menace. I will not be parademons fodder today! Which I must say, they even gave them the true menace that they are. Yes it is 4 hours long, but I personally did not mind being transported for a couple of hours away from this reality. I was happy to see the changes or rather see the correct version and waited with anticipation to see what would happened next. I enjoyed the details to the storylines of the characters, especially to Cyborg's- Ray Fisher- storyline- I mean it all made movie sense, finally. The detail in the his movement and even sound effects. I enjoy Ezra's performance as The Flash and here they fleshed out The Flash and his abilities; a young man, not a hero, but will be one. There is nothing new to say about Wonder Woman and Gal Gadot's performance, she is perfect, she is fluid in her action scenes, her strength and her story. Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne,-he captured Bruce Wayne, but as Batman he is ok. He is not on a killing spree and he is using his tactical brain. He greatest asset is his logical and tactical mind. Jason Momoa as Aquaman is a perfect match, he brings the intensity. I mean when he comes to save them from the flood- his entrance- WOW! And then Superman! I mean its Superman. Henry Cavill and he was born for this! While not alot of Superman, there is enough to satiate you and have you applauding when he does come. The music score is just fingers to the lips-MUWAH! The music just fits. It is synonymous with the characters- driving passion and compassion for the character and the scene. I mean Wonder Woman's score just gives me goosebumps. All in all I found myself clapping and yelling in excitement, staying engrossed in the film. I mean bathroom breaks are for suckers, but I can always press pause, but did not want to or need to. It just flowed and felt less than 4 hours. I will watch it again and again and again. In memory of Autumn, may she have found peace in her new transformation. May her family continue to find wonderful memories of her and that those memories fill the hole left in their hearts from her departure.

I really tried to like this movie in its entirety BUT it was like the joss whedon’s version of DC Comics movie Justice League. Just fell flat. The beginning was so promising; the fight scenes were fantastic. The actors were appropriate for the characters, but then you see Raiden and you are like “that’s not Raiden”. BUT you who go in- ever so hopeful, with the promise of a great MK movie. Go further in and you like the actor for Jax- you give it a pass- then they introduced Cole and you go “ok- new character. How does he tie into the first part of the movie?” You find yourself not really feeling the actor for this new character and even the storyline. You watch the movie -ok with Sonya, but just “meh”- Kano has some funny bits, but again, not so riveting- but ok- then they are introducing many other characters with plot holes, characters missing, wrong actor casting. This movie had a lot of potential. Fight scenes, SFX and CGI were good, how the story developed was rushed and acting skills a bit average/plain I feel like they didn’t really get anywhere in the story, it just kind of ends and leaving you hoping for something, yet you get nothing. I guess we will see if they make another.
