I have never desired to write a review of a movie before this moment. Joker is phenominal. Yes, it has long quiet scenes that to some may be "dragged out" and yes, the "Joker" part of the movie only shows at the very end, but those are the only things I feel the need to warn about. This is not a movie about the comic book Joker doing bad things; this is about a man who breaks in today's society. It is beautifully dark, immersive, and odly relatable. This is a movie to make you emotional, angry, laugh, and most importantly think. Every scene is appealing to the eye and the soundtrack is wonderful. It makes you uneasy, uncomfortable, and scared all while you secretly feel for the main character. Great humor, great drama, great scenes, great actors, great director, and great movie.
