Watching this film for historical accuracy is like going to a Brothel for a Hug you have wholey and completely missed the point. It is designed as escapism with fluid stylistic comic book style and turn your brain off and enjoy story. I'm sure there are plenty of documentaries you could watch for historical accuracy 300 is not one of those movies.
