It's a swashbuckling tale, of adventure on the high seas. Ok, not really. Buckles are swashed. Adventure is happening. But it's so much more than that. It's a show about inclusion and acceptance. Of others. Of oneself. It's a show about love in all forms. It's a hilarious, laugh out loud, gut wrenching and tear jerking, show where there is no big deal made of ppls gender identity, sexual orientation, or the fact that Blackbeard's outfit is 100% lifted from The Kurgan in Highlander. This show lives rent free in my head and I have no intentions of evicting it. Now, on to season 2!!
