I'm amazed and dismayed that this was ever got the greenlight to go into production. After finishing the last episode I can only conclude that the story was written by a twelve year old who had never seen a star wars movie. It feels hopelessly derivative, relying on poorly executed tropes from multiple genres. It's all over the place thematically, trying to be Lawrence of Arabia in one moment and Cyberpunk in the next. Ironically, this live action star wars adaptation feels far more childish and immature that the animated clone wars series ever did, while lacking all of its charm.

Absolutely stunning. A level of philosophical and narrative complexity rarely encountered in new productions, excentuated by the shows beautiful execution.
