I didn’t find Fairy Tail nearly as gripping as other Stephen King books I’ve read. It starts off strong, but begins to drag once Charlie enters Empis, and especially toward the end of the book. Also, even though Charlie is supposed to be older when he tells his tale, much of the writing seems to be aimed at adolescent boys, with a lot of unnecessary cuss words and bodily function references. I’d say skip this one.
