This is one of my favorite movies. I was 12 when it came out and over the years, I understand it more and more on different levels. This movie is funny, relatable, and also makes you contemplate. I watch this movie at least once a year. I watched it this morning and this year I learned about the power of love and what it truly means to sacrifice and/or compromise. Even though Nicholas cage character was super rich, was very powerful, and could have any woman he wanted it all felt empty when he went back to that life without a wife and kids. Amazing script and amazing director. This movie will always be a cult classic for me.
