Bof... j'ai trouvé difficile d'accorder du crédit à ce procès où les témoignages nombreux et concordants indiquent très clairement et rapidement la culpabilité de l'accusé... ce n'est pas crédible que sa fille en doute et encore moins qu'il soit acquitté... sans parler de l'aberration de base de la fille défendant son père... le sujet si grave du nazisme mérite un traitement plus sévère et heureusement le cinéma l'a montré sans concession parfois. Mais pas ici...

I found this book very boring... the plot is almost non existent, the main character annoyingly subdued and the children's dialogues always in capital letters (screaming kids, how relaxing) extremely irritating. It's also a pity to have poorly written English with foreign characters when reading a book set in Cornwall. Basically a waste of time and money, even on holidays this is useless.

I think this is the worst book I ever read. The plot is ridiculous, the main character unpleasant and selfish, the style so lamentable it is difficult to understand how this can be published as such... And how many kids are there in this novel? And totally unrelated to the plot... Obviously the author targets bored mothers at home... Seriously, this is so annoying keep your money for anything else... I put one star because zero is not allowed.
