Hi, I was planning to write up a five star review, I have watched and rewatched and was just planning to rewatch again lol. This film is great but I will not lie after reading the one star reviews I do agree with them but wanted to add my thoughts into it as well, this is a great Christian film, and I am grateful they have made it cause I know just like music people struggle to stop watching secular movies as well, & for me this film never gets boring. The one star reviews talk about how it is not accurate -> completely accurate to the bible and how that is risky. Which I’ve gotta agree no matter how good the film is. However people claim that the people have said that this is 100% accurate which I’m pretty sure they told us it isn’t, because just like you said they filled the blanks and so that makes it no accurate, so it can be more of a smooth storyline. People find this very risky not only to the Christians who created the film but for the Christians watching it, but I think it is more complicated than that. The bible has also said that as long as the word gets out and it has positive influence then yes though it is unfortunate that it’s not in the ‘proper’ way or ‘completely proper’ way, the point is that the word got out and truthfully it is doing good for people faith. We can only hope that they don’t only stop at this film but open the bible and live their life for Jesus completely without relying on the knowledge of films or what else, but my point here is that in my opinion it is way more complicated and I think we shouldn’t bash them too harshly. The three seasons that have come out so far are great, they don’t put down Jesus they clearly show that he is the great and powerful. The people that claim that they put down Jesus or put some image on him Im pretty sure means how they portray Jesus with human feelings, but what is wrong with that? Is it not true? The time he lived he was a man, a man who had a parent and family, hobbies and you know, very human feelings and thoughts. Why are we not happy that they are showing this? It is not like they are only showing that and not how great and powerful he is. Anyway, that’s my opinion on this. It’s way better than watching other movies that are not Christian and unfortunately I can’t bring myself to watch a whole 2 hour Christian that feels more like a documentary. So I think this is great.
